About

Lover of fishtail braids, connoisseur of jewelry of all price points, and social media maven who isn’t afraid to rock a bold lip, Sarah McManus is a personal fashion stylist and wardrobe consultant.

Sarah McManus’ lifelong affair with the perfect chignon and luscious red manicure was passed down from her Italian grandmother who, as a former model, was always draped in fur.

Since then, her passion to merge classic staples with new
trends and designers – and her self-proclaimed addiction to heels even on the Boston cobblestone – has only grown.

More commonly known as Boston Stylista, Sarah is the founder and creator of a fashion blog of the same name, offers styling tips and a unique peek into her fashionable downtown lifestyle.

With fashion crushes like Kate Moss, Nicole Richie, and Gwen Stefani, Sarah is the force behind some of Boston’s most covetable and noteworthy fashions.

Working as an assistant fashion editor at a prominent Boston magazine, she honed her skills before branching off on her own, now styling some of Boston’s most striking.

Sarah is also a freelance fashion writer and has appeared as a style expert on NECN's StyleBoston and WHDH Channel 7 News. Her fashion tips have also appeared in Shape magazine, SheKnows, Her Campus and The Examiner, among countless other publications.

"I grew up with my Italian model/grandmother who was constantly dressed in fur with a perfect chignon and red manicure. I used to go through her Vogue magazines page by page. I guess it's in the genes."
