Ku De Ta Introduces Nicole Richie's House of Harlow Jewelry

The always current South Boston boutique Ku De Ta is now selling the glamorous House of Harlow jewelry line from Nicole Richie. The jewelry is bold, heavy, and very distinctive. Hard to find in the city, Ku De Ta is your go to boutique for many sassy designers. Richie has been working hard not only on her jewelry, but also her clothing endeavor called Winter Kate. 

Ku De Ta is looking into the clothing line aspect now. Manager Heather O’Connell says the store choose the line because “House of Harlow’s jewelry line is chic and stylish and can be worn day or night to add that perfect amount of glamour to any look.” We think that is reason enough.

Spring's Hottest Shoe

As the snow begins to melt and the sidewalks start to clear, it’s exciting to pack away our rubber boots and think about more flattering shoes. The spring is all about sexy cut-outs in footwear. These insane shooties are the best way to celebrate the season. Handmade in Italy, they luckily arrived at Cuoio Shoes on Newbury Street. In both patent leather black and silver, the show stoppers ($280) by Aquatalia are simply stunning with selective cuts and a peep toe. They are so pretty, put them on display and think of all the outfits to pair them with when the snow finally dissipates.

A Saturday Stroll

One of the great pleasures of my life is taking a weekend stroll through the South End. There are so many amazing restaurants and shops.

This Saturday, we decided to eat at Gaslight Brassiere on Harrison Ave (ya know, where they filmed Knight and Day) and was it delicious.

 It is still cold, so layering was the key to staying warm on this adventure. Next up, the Flower Exchange for some fresh cut roses that just make me feel good!

Inspiration Board

We all need a little inspiration now and then whether it is in fashion, home decor, or a hobby you love. Inspiration boards can bring a lot of ideas even when your not looking for them. I found the board I use at an antique sale and painted it with pearlescent paint and some of my current inspirations. As a stylist, it is especially key to always have beautiful, creative images to look at and drive me in many different projects.

Bangs are a  great way to totally revolutionize your hair cut in just a few snips. After being kept inside for months, we all need a fresh change. Add bangs to give your hair some life and movement. "Ponytail girls" benefit from bangs greatly because there is still a style going on. Many celebs are going the bang route this season like major trend setter Rihanna. 


Make sure you pick a fabulous stylist to cut them and bring a picture to show the type you want. I am personally a fan of thick, blunt bangs. Julia Perkins at Avanti Salon personally cuts mine which I adore and trim regularly. Many salons will also trim bangs for free after the initial cut. Give them a whirl.....hair always grows back!
