BostonMints Lipgloss

Thank you Joanna Ilcaqua. She is the creator of my favorite lip-gloss BostonMints. Not only are the colors outstanding but leave your mouth minty fresh; perfect for date night. My personal favorite is Swan Boat, a gorgeous subtle pink. Did I mention they are all named after famous Boston spots?! Every time I apply I find smooth, shiny, colorful lips that last for quite awhile. The glosses come in two sizes;  full or mini. They also start at a reasonable nine dollars. Find your shade at BostonMints.com or Flock in the South End.

Wayfair: a zillion things home

bostonstylista and Wayfair have teamed up to show you some of their fabulous products and company.

"Wayfair is in the business of giving our customers easy online access to the world’s home stuff in one place. Wayfair believes that options for your home can come from just about anywhere, so we carry over 5,000 brands of products like furniture, lighting, cookware, and everything in between. We also know that home furnishings often don’t fit in your car, so we offer free shipping on most big stuff and most other stuff, too."
I found this amazing Lands Downunder Assiro Herringbone Throw that matches the color of my walls perfectly. Not only did I need a new throw, but this fit my needs and is cashmere-soft! I have been sleeping with it every night.

Get over to Wayfair as soon as you can to partake in their amazing deals and selection!

Boston (charity) Fashion Week

Fashion Project is the new fabulous site where there are donors and buyers. It was started to "flip the script on online consignment and giving". People can DONATE high-end clothes, shoes and accessories right on FashionProject.com and pledge the proceeds to the charity of their choice.
You can also SHOP for these coveted, designer items (at an amazing price) knowing that a portion of the proceeds will go to a great cause.
Today the city is passing resolution to officially make next week 'Boston (charity) Fashion Week".

Between August 6-12th, people who donate used, high-end clothing on the Fashion Project website will receive great rewards from coveted retailers around Boston. And, as always, donors will have the ability to choose the charity to receive the majority of the sales proceeds, making the reward and donation experience even richer.

DROP OFF
On Saturday August 11th, between 12-5pm donations can be made, in person, at The Shops at the Prudential. There are likely to be several more drop-off locations announced in the coming days.

REWARDS
Fashion Project has partnered with several high end Boston retailers, like Crush Boutique on Newbury and Charles David at the Prudential to offer people discount rewards for donating during Boston (charity) Fashion Week. “We’re giving people the opportunity to ‘clean out their closet for a cause’ and then rewarding them with, not just feeling good, but discounts to refill those same closets!”, said co-founder Anna Palmer. Fashion Project will be sending people on the list an email at 11am each morning that will link them to private sale on our site.
