In the Tent: Maria Victoria

The last show of last night was Maria Victoria by Victoria Dominguez. She was born in  Uruguay and graduated from the School of Fashion Design in Boston. Her clothes are sleek and ultra-feminine with a mix of solids and prints. The models looked hip with messy buns. I loved the sexiness of this show and the European feel it had.
The pop of red added an unexpected touch!
How hot is this number?!
This was such a unique pattern.
Pure elegance
The designer, Victoria Dominguez

In the Tent: Luke Aaron

Holy LUKE AARON! This show was perfection! I enjoyed every second! The collection was inspired by Mid-20th Century silhouettes in Japan. The shapes were so elegant and feminine with origami folds and gorgeous draping. The materials consisted of organza, chiffon, and satin in the most beautiful yet subtle shades. They are perfect for a wedding or night out on the town. Schedule an appointment with Luke at www.lukeaaronboston.com.

Here are my favorites!
How fabulous to wear to work and then going out on the town?!
The way this skirt fell and moved was so beautiful!
Very sleek!
A definite nod back to old times!
Simple and classic!
Can't you see a bride walking down the aisle in this?
This number was MY FAVORITE! I just adore this elegant, yet detailed silk gown. I want one for myself!
Anything with shorts is cool to me!
The final gown was PERFECTION! Look at the all the different shapes. It was as if Cinderella was walking the show!

Inside the Tent: Avni Trivedi

"Born and raised in India, Avni’s designer Avni Trivedi spent her formative years immersed in the rich history, vibrant fashion and beautiful art of Indian culture". With Avni, Trivedi blends her Eastern heritage with her Western urban eye to form a contemporary cultural connection for women. All of her collections are from luscious fabrics made by artisans in India.

The show started out with the Japanese Drummers of Rutsubo Taiko banging on drums and setting the mood. The clothes were light and airy with gorgeous sparkling gems on each arm. The metallic shoes added a simple element to the intricate designs.
Loving this number and color!
The insane head wear is courtesy of Chhabra Bridal Wear in Cambridge.
The hair was very sleek but creative with long, elegant braids.

Pops of color appeared everywhere during the show.

Inside the Tent: Grace Kim

Grace Kim's designs for g. K I M studio "are based on a system of integrated separates that have been described as mod and classic with interesting details that keep it fresh and fashion forward". I can honestly say I was MAJORLY impressed with this show! Every look was amazing and different. I also enjoyed the blonde curly wigs on all the models because we all know blondes have more fun! :) The uniformity of the platform pumps showed how each look can be remixed and worn with a simple touch.

Boston Fashion Week: Karina Bresnahan

I just attended Karina Bresnahan, a recent graduate of The School of Fashion Design and local designer specializing in resort wear. The collection was amazing with bold, vibrant colors strutting down the runway." I was also a huge fan of the gorgeous braids and fishtails that strolled by. KB swimwear is for the fashionable woman who strives for glamour, quality, and a look that sets her apart from the crowd". Here are my favorite looks!
I love the look of this suit paired with nude shoes to match and a long flowing train!
This print is outrageously cool and I adore the cut of the dress. It's perfect for day to night by just accessorizing a few details.
Loved, loved this number is a deep navy!
How vibrant and exotic is this dress? Look at that necklace!
