What I Wore: The Power Shopping Event

This dress is from H&M. I found it in Downtown Crossing last week for $35! What I love so much about the style is the fact that it is backless. It adds such unique detail to it, otherwise, it's just another black dress.

The Power Shower Event with myself and Neiman Marcus was a success! Guests enjoyed champagne, dj beats, cupcakes, and the styling of Avanti Salon on Sportswear 2. I had a wonderful time hosting and thank everyone for coming! Here's a little insight to my outfit and hair that afternoon. Thank you to the lovely Katherine Sims of Avanti and the blog Tribe Boston for taking the pictures.
The clutch is from Velle purses found on Etsy. I have two of these clutches. One is this rich, apple color and another in a magenta. They are so soft and the bright colors add another element to any plain outfit.
These shoes were a steal at Marshall's for $30! The brand is Coconut. I love a great wedge.
We started out with my hair very teased and down with this amazing, Shopbop clip placed in the back. Soon, we moved on to other looks.
Find the clip here.
This was John Dion of Avanti's take on a "Mad Men" style.
There is John and crew hard at work!
The final hair look was a John's version of a top knot. This was my favorite!
An overall success!
