A trip to Company C

Over the Independence holiday, I went to Deerfield New Hampshire known for it spectacular "antique alley". Basically, there is nothing around but a few, spectacular antique shops. My journey included Boston interior designer Amy Chalmers, or as she is known in blog land, "Maison Decor." Read her post about the trip here. About twenty minutes down the long road emerged Company C, the colorful furniture and accessories store. It is fabulous and so brilliantly decorated inside.

Immediately, I was taken by the exquisite, detailed rugs. It all started back in 1994 with couple Chris and Walter Chapin and a passion for color in their small garage. Now a powerhouse, Company C is ruling the decorating world! Here are some pictures from my trip. Now, all I need is a Company C rug to match my newly revamped living room!
I love the lettering they use about their register. It is so creative!

Hello Gorgeous! The fabric is so elegant and I love mixing all the floral together. It is not seen that much. The yellow throw is the perfect amount of one solid color.
The throws are luxurious and the display of books was beautiful.
My future child's bedroom. Look at how they refurbished an ottoman with a rug! Brilliant. Every color is there for a reason. I adore the small headboard.
Look at what Company C uses for a sale bin. Cool!
Every table had these unique wheels and were low to the ground.
Overall, I fell head over heels for Company C. They will soon become a part of my home!

With so much beauty in the world, it's amazing that ugly design still exists. Thanks for sharing, Sarah!
