Spring’s Most Romantic Staples

Peasant blouses are explosive right now with many trend setters from local stylists to celebrities sporting this look. This soft, billowy top is perfect for pairing with jeans as shown or a long maxi skirt. A crisp white one like this (shown) from H&;M is a great way to start out with this trend as it more classic and simple. ( $24.50 at H&M
Silk is the ultimate in luxury and this Madewell Film School blazer is the ultimate statement. A staple for any season, this says spring with the “it” color of the moment, blush. The length of the blazer is perfect for most body shapes hitting at the low hip giving a nice silhouette and who doesn’t want to be wrapped in silk crepe de chine? ($165 at Madewell)
Gorgeous, hand-sewn mesh rosettes adorn this American Apparel sweater. Instead of the usual cardigan or crew-neck, a scoop-neck allows for some pretty jewelry to add to the romance of this look. This is not your ordinary sweater. ($88 at American Apparel)
A bow  just has femininity written all over it and is as always a main trend on the runways now. This fabulous Ted Baker romper gives the simplicity of this bow an edge especially in electric cobalt blue. ($180 at Ted Baker )
Lace will be everywhere this spring, but we love this J.Crew lace-over tank. A staple in every drawer, the top adds a special element with real shell buttons and a vintage feel. Wear it under a cardigan for a more conservative look or alone on a date night with a skirt. ($52 at J.Crew)
One of the most sought after trends this year are floral patterns and this sweet dress from Mint Julep is the perfect combination of colors without being too busy. The V-neck wrap dress is complimentary for any shape and will carry you into the summer months. ($98 at Mint Julep)
