Best Dressed at the Met 2011

If you want to see every A-list celebrity possible, just look at some pictures from the Costume Institute Benefit Gala in New York, which honored the life of the late designer Alexander McQueen. Held every year, the stars go all out for this black tie event. It's almost better than the Oscars! When Vogue hosts an event, you know it's going to be spectacular. Here are my best dressed for this year:
GISELE BUNDCHEN
Gisele stole the show in her shocking red Alexander McQueen gown. It is perfection! Her body isn't bad either especially for this strapless, hugging gown. The length is not too showy and the color really shines on Gisele. She was the best dressed star of the night and having Tom Brady on your arm can't hurt.
JENNIFER LOPEZ
Being the "most beautiful woman in the world" might contribute to the fact that only Jennifer Lopez could pull off this gown! From the flower embroidered sleeves to the cut out bodice, JLO knows how work the red carpet. The makeup is a perfect fit with her daring red lips and flirty lashes. A++

SARAH JESSICA PARKER
SJP was also in McQueen and showing more of a simple yet elegant side. Her hair was absolutely chic in her  voluminous chignon. This tight, body hugging floor length gown is sexy without being too revealing. The beading detail exemplifies McQueen's genuis.

NICOLE RICHIE
Miss Nicole Richie in Vintage is always a show stopper. This white gown is right on trend with it's cut out sleeves and color. I really enjoyed how the sleeves almost act as glove allowing Richie to stand out with her unique touches. The hair and makeup is very old Hollywood and the star looks gorgeous!
KATE HUDSON
Pregnant Kate Hudson stuns in her Stella McCartney gown. It is perfect for her at this time and shows off her sexy curves! The diamond pin in her hair is the perfect touch to the ensemble. Everything from the gorgeous crystal details to the blush color is just lovely.
